Ghorepani Poon Hill- Ghandrung Trekking is short trek program  located in Annapurna region. This trek is one of the  best of the trekking in Nepal . This route allows to view Pokhara city and beautiful scenery of Mountains from your trails and the most  Poon Hill (3210m.)

Trip Details

Day 01 - KATHMANDU- ARRIVAL                           

Arrivival to Kathmandu, the beautiful view of snow-capped Himalayan range greets your sight. The No Name Travel and Treks Airport Representative will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. After arrival to hotel, you will have short briefing and final payment procedures.

Day 02 - KATHMANDU- SIGHTSEEING

Sightseeing of Kathmandu includes Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath.Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu shrine in the world. The two storied pagoda houses a pagoda houses with a lignum or the phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. the temple dates back to the 4th century, it was brought into its present shape in the early 18th century. The temple is most noted for its gold-plat pagodahouses a ed roofs and silver-coated doors.

Bouddhanath Stupa is the world's largest stupa. The unique aspect of this great Buddhist monument is that it is set in the octagonal mandala design. After your blessingful tour, you have to final prepareartion for your trekking equipment for Annapurna Basecamp trek.

Day 03 - KATHMANDU- POKHARA

We take the short but scenic 30 minute flight to Pokhara, enjoying the views of Ganesh, Manaslu and theAnnapurnas along the way. Or approxmately 6 hours drive. We stay overnight in Pokhara.Afternoon / evening, we visit Pokhara Fewa Lakeakeside's.

Day 04 - POKHARA- NAYAPUL- ULLERI

Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, your real trekking start from here to Ulleri (1960 meters) via Tirkhedhunga On night at Lodge.

Day 05 - ULLERI- GHOREPANI

Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2874 meters)

Day 06 - GHOREPANI- POONHILL (3210m) – TADAPANI

We will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill (3210m). From here youwill see superb view of sunrise. From there we can see the view of Himalayas, includingMt. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and HiunchuliAnnapurna South, Fishtail the Machhapuchhre Mountain. After visiting Poonhill, we will trek downto Ghorepani hotel after breakfast trek to Tadapani (2670m).

Day 07 - TADAPANI- GHANDRUNG VILLAGE

The road descends steeply through the forest to Baisi Kharka, then the trailfurther descends to a stream.Crossing the stream the trail proceeds towards Ghandruk, a beautiful village where you have excellent viewsof Annapurna South and it is also the headquarter of AnnapurnaConservation Area Project (ACAP).Ghandrung; which is the village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal,have their own dialect, typical culture, costume, and life style. This village is possibly the populartourist destination that offers thebeautiful mountain views.

Day 08 - GHANDRUNG- POTHANA

Ghandrung Village to Pothana (1890 meters) via Deurali

Day 09 - POTHANA- PHEDI- POKHARA

Trek from Pothana to Phedi, catch a Bus or reserved vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. Enjoy Pokhara Evening.

Day 10 - POKHARA-KATHMANDU

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus that takes about seven hoursFrom Naubishe youclimb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city.
You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 30 minutes.

Day 11 - KATHMANDU- DEPARTURE

The trip ends, our Airport Representativewill drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
